EMC Holds Valedictory Session for Retiring Director

QSThe Executive Management Committee (EMC) of the FCDA has held a valedictory session for Qs Graham Nuhu, who until his retirement on Friday 18th June 2021, was the Director, Procurement of the Authority.

While eulogizing the sterling qualities of Qs Graham at the session, the Acting Executive Secretary, Tpl. Zaliha’u Ahmed described him as a thorough-bred professional, adding that the Authority was willing and ready to assist him in whatever area such assistance would be needed.  She wished him well in all his endeavours.

Other members of the committee who took turns to speak described the retiree variously as a gentleman, of a good reputation and character, emotive, compassionate and practical in his dealings

Others described him as an intellectual, straight-forward, good-humoured, engaging to the core, full of ideas, easy-going, of gentle demeanour, a mentor, teacher, team-player and a man of details who will be sorely missed in the services of the FCDA.

Responding, Qs Graham Nuhu appreciated his former colleagues for the honour done him with the valedictory session.  He said the session capped up all the benefits he has gotten from his public service.

He paid glowing tributes to all those under whom he had worked in the course of his service to the Authority and all those who also worked under him, adding that he has no grudges against any of his colleagues nor the FCDA.  Meanwhile, the activities of the Department of Procurement will be overseen by Qs Salimanu Rasheed who until now was the Deputy Director, Capital Procurement.
