FCDA Management Holds Valedictory Session for Retiring Ag. Director

The Executive Management Committee (EMC) of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) on Tuesday held a valedictory session in honour of the immediate past Acting Director of the department of Engineering Infrastructure Rehabilitation, Engr. Peter Aburime as he retires from the services of the Authority.

Speaking during the session, the Executive Secretary, Engr. Richard Yunana Dauda described the retiree as someone who is keen in carrying out his assignments, and delivering same in good time. He added that Engr. Aburime is always eager to learn more to develop himself personally.

The Executive Secretary urged the retiree to keep his doors open to provide any information or render any service as may be required by the Authority whenever the need arises, and charged him to get himself busy in order to remain strong and healthy.

Other members of the EMC who took turns to speak described their former colleague as warm, friendly, diligent, caring, and a professional to the core.

Responding, the former Acting Director described his services to the Authority as a great experience, as according to him, the experience one gets while working for the FCDA may never be gotten elsewhere. He added that anyone who works and retires in FCDA is a great asset to the nation.

Engr. Peter Aburime retired from the services of the FCDA having put in the mandatory 35 years of service.
